The 2012 Tournament Season is already in sight!... Please visit our 2012 fishing season sponsors below.

GONE NATIONAL AGAIN THIS SEASON! Team Big Fishin' was invited once again for the 2011 season to fish the SKA National Championship and Finals in Biloxi Mississippi! Seas were rough and fishing was rough for all teams involved this season. Last season, the Team finished in the top five of the finals proving them one of the best fishing teams in the United States for 2010. From Team Big Fishin': "Many Thanks to all of our Sponsors and we hope to report good news form the Nationals in Biloxi Mississippi and make you all proud to be a part of Team Big Fishin'!"

Team Big Fishin' had a stellar and super fun year during the 2011 SKA Tournament Fishing Season in Division 4. The team fished in north Florida nearshore waters during a few tournaments including their win at Capt. Haps Kingfish Bash on the Bluff. Capt. Scott and his team had the Tournament wrapped by around 8 AM that morning with a stellar 37.77 pound King Mackerel to take first place... Click the link below to see the first place fish.

Mercury Outboards ProStaff Team

(New in 2012!) Team Big Fishin' would like to publically thank the entire PR/Marketing and Pro-Staff Team at Mercury Outboards for ther on going support of our team. We are currently operating a late model Contender 23 Tournament Edition powered with twin 200 Mercury OptiMax powerhouses for optimal speed, performance and dependability. You need "all the above" when Tournament fishing a hundred miles from the check-out point. Only with a Mercury!

Mercury Outboards: "Sun's goin' down, wind is pickin' up, weigh-in is in two hours... Time to Fly!"

Team Diawa and Big Fishin

(New in 2012!) Scott and his Team Big Fishin' depend on quality Daiwa Products to bring home winning fish at a high rate of speed.

The Daiwa Reel Company offers a wide variety of reels to suit most budgets, including super fast king mackerel reels with retrieve speeds of over 7:1 or even higher with a full spool of line! The Team would like to publically thank Daiwa for the product program they have provided for our Team as well as offering some of the finest reels on the market today.

(New in 2012!) "We would like to thank Yeti Coolers for their contribution to our team. Anyone that doesn't use Yeti has probably never experienced days upon days of Ice in their coolers without a daily stop at the Ice Machine.. Buy a Yeti and stop feeding your 20's into the Ice Machine!"

A word from Yeti; Ordinary coolers are injection and/or blow-molded. These processes are relatively inexpensive, high-volume manufacturing methods commonly used for everyday products like soda bottles. On the other hand, YETI® Coolers are rotational-molded (roto-molded), like whitewater kayaks, to ensure impact resistance and long-term durability. This process is more costly, but the end result is a cooler with a superior durability advantage. Once you handle a YETI®, you’ll notice the big diffference.

"A Word from RedfishOne Hooks" about Capt. Scott & Team "Big Fishin'"

RedfishOne Hooks USA/JAPAN (AKA; Redfish One, Redfishone Kingfish Hooks) gives this fishing team an (A++) reccomendation to all. RedfishOne Hooks depends on Capt. Scott and his team to promote and present RedfishOne hooks and Fishing Tackle products for Kingfishing professionally, ethically and with a great attitude. Scott and his team do exactly that.

Scott was chosen by RedfishOne Hooks for many reasons, We look for teams that do not drink during competition hours, hold a good reputation over all, clean mouthed, clean cut, well dressed... But most of all, teams that keep their head held high no matter what. This team fits the bill and they remain a constant threat to their competitors in the top ten in most every division 4 SKA Tournament. Capt. Scott and his loyal team understand the importance of promotion which makes our relationship a "win-win" for RedfishOne and Team Big Fishin'.

Scott and his team members enjoy a FULL Sponsorship from RedfishOne Hooks USA/JAPAN. He and his team continue to shoot above and beyond down the two-way street of sponsorship and PR.

"Marine Products" used by Capt. Scott & Team "Big Fishin''

Capt. Scott is Proud to utilize the Following Marine Products. "Our Team depends on our boat, engines and all our equipment to get us through each and every tournament without a hitch. Without the following brand names, our ultra-long and many times very rough fishing days would not be possible.

Contender Boats are amongst the "Best of the Best" when it comes to offshore fishing in "not so good conditions". Just ask anyone who owns a Contender Boat and you'll find satisfaction along with pride of ownership. Take a look at the Contender Boat line up for this model year!
Garmin is founded on the principles of innovation, convenience, performance, value, and service. Our co-founders Gary Burrell and Dr. Min Kao, display our innovative products in the lobby of our Olathe, Kansas, world headquarters.
"At Mercury, we engineer, build and test reliability into all our products. We always have, and we always will. From Redfish One kingfish Hooks: No one likes to catch King Mackerel more than Capt Scott Harding. A long time fisherman and friend of the RedfishOne Comapany owner, Scott has more than proven his passion for the sport of Kingfishing over the years. This goes beyond a childhood friendship between Scott and Redfish One Hooks.... Scott loves to catch Kingfish! He and his team walk with their shoulders up and their heads high, willing to help or speak to anyone. Bottom line is, you won't find a much better person than Scott. He has also been around the block with team members and now has a well rounded team and again, these guys LOVE TO TOURNAMENT KINGFISH!!!

Fort Pierce Florida on November 5th, 2010, THE SKA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

A Brutal weather front bringing cold air and heavy winds and seas pounded into the fishing grounds in Fort Pierce Florida just in time for the "Big Show', The Southern Kingfish Association National Championship Tournament.

This is the invitational end of the year, the BIG Show, The Finals, the Tournament where the best of the best from a dozen venues/divisions are invited to compete for the largest Kingfish. Top Teams who have proved their worth and have gathered a determined amount of points/pounds over the season are invited to battle it out against each other in the year end SKA National Championship.

Capt. Scott Harding runs and owns his Contender 23 Open Tournament Contender Powered by Mercury Outboards and Sponsored by Dairy Queen and RedfishOne Hooks. The team put the Contender through brutal conditions right next to 38 ft. boats fishing the same tournament. The Weather was unforgving slapping 20 knot winds and huge seas at everyone in the tournament.

Capt. Scott proved his worth in this tournament per usual battling the building seas, wind and deteriorating overall weather conditions by boating 2 solid 23-24# kingfish back to back in their 23 ft. Tournament Contender using RedfishOne custom hooks. Not bad considering the weather! Great Job Scott and the crew on the Big Fishin'!

Also proving their worth, Capt. Scotts personal aresenal of Redfish One 4-X Black Nickel Treble Hooks (custom welded) and his 2/0 Black Nickel 4-X Bait Hooks brought home the fish for his team once again. We're glad to see Capt. Scott doing well using our product.... It's a win-win for everyone... Great Job Guys!

RedfishOne 4-X Kingfish Treble Hooks and Live Bait Kingfish Hooks. "When Fish Bite em', they just can't shake em'... They hook, and they HOLD!" Period!
